Technology & Features
The features our products genuinely have, explained plainly — along with the things we do not claim.
01
Airflow
Heat is the number one reason people take a helmet off on a short trip. Every KBR open-face line uses vents across the top of the shell, and several models add rear vents and a spoiler that helps air escape as the bike moves.
On the catalogue sheets this appears as upper vent, rear vent, and rear spoiler, depending on the model. KBR JP5 and KBR Junior Pet also list side vents.
02
Visor system
Most models use a clear visor that raises and lowers one-handed. KBR Vaganza uses a longer visor that shades the face further, while KBR Bogo New Classic adds a hinged single visor to the classic bogo shape.
The GMT Divo line uses a double visor: a clear outer visor and an inner tinted visor that drops down when the sun is harsh, without stopping.
03
Lining
The padding decides whether a helmet is comfortable for ten minutes or two hours. KBR's catalogue sheets list padded lining and soft, comfortable lining across most lines — including the children's line, which needs it most.
JPN Galaxy lists a soft, comfortable lining on its specification sheet, alongside a weight of about 1,000 grams and ABS High Impact material.
04
Construction & finish
The GMT Divo line uses knock-down construction, which makes components easier to remove and replace. Most models in this catalogue list quality materials on their official sheet; JPN Galaxy names ABS High Impact specifically.
Nearly every colour comes in two finishes — gloss, which shines, and matte, which cuts reflection. Both use the same shell; only the top coat differs.
