Hari Pahlawan

The day Surabaya chose to stand its ground — and a small tribute from us, drawn in our own way.

Five animal characters in KBR helmets holding bambu runcing on a rooftop at dawn, with old Surabaya and a red-and-white flag behind them

Why 10 November

Hari Pahlawan marks the Battle of Surabaya, which began on 10 November 1945. It is a day of remembrance, observed across Indonesia every year.

Much of what people carried then was improvised — bambu runcing, sharpened from whatever grew nearby. We are a helmet company, not a history book, so we will not stretch the comparison. We only note the smaller, ordinary idea inside it: what you put on before you go out still matters.

The panda is not Indonesian fauna — it comes from our children's design line and simply tagged along.
